Crestlea Foundation was formed in 1955 as a private foundation dedicated to serving the people of Delaware and Southeastern Chester County, PA through its support of not-for-profit organizations in the social services, education, health care, cultural arts, environmental, housing, and civic sectors.
To be eligible for grant consideration, applicants must be a 501(c)(3) organization located in Crestlea's geographic areas of interest (noted above). Applications for grant support must be submitted online by September 1. Grant decisions are made at the Board of Trustees' Annual Meeting in December each year. All applicants will receive notice of Trustee decisions by year-end.
If fund are granted, the Foundation requires grant recipients to wait at least one year from the time of receiving funding before applying for another grant. Organizations that do not receive funding in a given year are welcome to reapply as early as the next year. Crestlea Foundation does not make grants for political or religious activities, nor does it fund special events or scholarships.
